Talking Dual Exhaust

Ok im bout ready to add that dual exhaust, but i dont want to it be real ruff and loud. questions were if i dont want it loud should i leave the resinator and the cat and jus add my mufflers ? what type would be best to go with ? and with the tips, should i get the ones that have the muzzle like holes on the inner wall ? aw yeah it would be best to get two mufflers instead of a dual outlet muffler right ?

Don't remove the resonator, it tends to make it raspy without it. If you have a single pipe to a single muffler then go with a flowmaster or magnaflow series 80. If you have a Y pipe going to 2 mufflers, then go with a series 40. This should give you a deep tone without being raspy. If the cabin drone is a little much, you can add a second resonator in line. This should tone it down a bit but still have some nice snap when you get on it.

Leave the cat. The muffler I have is a series 80 and that'* a single pipe in, and two pipes out.

I just wanted to add my 2 cents on what muffler to buy.

I personally run with a brand that Carquest sells, called Goerlich
Very good price/fit/performance
Also this brand is OE fit and is a bit louder than stock, which in my opinion is what i want for a total sleeper.
