Default yeah..

as long as it sounds deep and not a farting sound its ok. but on a stock l27 (okok, I have a kn filter) it mite be a little to much of a sound.
http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/we...PerfMuff9.html (3.8 99 firebird)
sounds thoaty. but without cat. converter it will probably sound a bit more tinny and hard to say with rectangular pipes... n e one have a similar system?

*L27 n/a, no cat converter/ no resistator... stock screwed muffler. 1 inlet 2dual outlight transfersly mounted.

I have Dynomax dual outlet (Camaro style) muffler with 2.5" pipe all the way through, extremely high flow CAT (*cough* punched *cough*), and no resonator.

She can be a little rappy at low rpms, but put her to the floor and she has a deep growel that vibrates the cabin...good stuff.

Default hmm.

does it sound like its back firing on the decell?

back a few years ago I had a 94 silverado, I put a flow master on the 5.7: and on the decell it sounded like it was backfiring, very annyoying like a poping sound.

It ONLY backfires when I let off the gas after a nitrous run. Nothing loud like a *POP*, but a gurgle.

I try my best to sell every performance part out there. I also try to cover every make & model of vehicle in the process too. I carry so many products now, I don't have the time (or the fingers) to type them all in my store! Actually I have access to everything from keychains to Neon, to mid-range parts, right up to $6600 SC bolt-on Kits!
Between my store & my Amsoil Dealer status, there isn't much I don't carrry or have access too.
