someone wanna let me in on this...i belivee it cools the car faster...but what do you just drill it w/ your own drill or do you buy one drilled?

Considering what your winters are like, I'd suggest just 2 holes, 1/16" in diameter. I have 4. Make sure the holes are far enough inboard that the rubber seal doesn't interfere, and de-burr the edges of the holes. Rinse the stat well before installing it after drilling.

BTW, do you know what happens to a 180° drilled thermostat when you rinse it?

Careful bud, when I get REALLY blitzed, I start randomly changing people'* signatures. Some of my edits are still alive today!

I think NVSSEi still has "I tolerate drunken administrators" in his sig. He was logged on late one night/early morning for us, while I was making major changes to the forums. Must've been really freaking confusing for him.
