Default Dragster pics, vids, injectors matched and balanced! PICS!

Got 'em done. A few misc pics and vids. Results were OUTSTANDING. I was hoping to gain some power, but apparently I have the most magical set of injectors to begin with, which may help to explain why my car always performed well above par, even stock.

And some misc vids:

http://www.williamwren.com/injectors/2.mpg

http://www.williamwren.com/injectors/3.mpg

Long and short of it is that my injectors are matched to less than 1% at 100% duty cycle, and less than 2% at 80% duty cycle. All rebuilt and clean, ready to go back in.

Anyone that'* interested in this service, Chris will do your injectors for $25 each. Quite a deal, considering the price of new injectors, and especially when compared to a matched set.

8% is really good. 5% is almost unheard of. Chris will gaurantee 6%. You don't pay for any injector that doesn't hit that range.

Love his setup and the Chili pepper
$150 for tuned and balanced injectors seems like a good deal to me, how long did it take minus the beers and playing with the dog

We screwed around alot with the big red toy, and even played with my SC housing, LIM, and fuel rail.

If we'd been strictly business, both of us working (and now that I know a bit more about the process, and don't have to be taught, the two of us could do them in maybe 3 hours? It takes time to clean and rebuild them, and we used the cleaning time (one hour) to look at other stuff.

Each of the 4 tests take one minute each, but there'* setup time too. He also did some setup before I got there, so I'm not sure. I'd guess that if he had it set up already, it would take him 2 hours to do 6 plugs? Maybe 3? The guy is meticulous. Very detail oriented. Alot of his customers are full-time dragstrip guys. Heavy hitters. He'* doing injectors for local mechanics now, too.

He had fun too.

And look who just joined! http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...profile&u=4248

That'* Chris Miller, the injector/dragster guy. Here to offer his services. I've asked him to do a short intro to his business in the Vendor'* forum, so watch for it. He does VERY good work for a VERY good price.

What did it cost you? And did they replace your filter gaskets? I'd like to see how their process and price compares....I think Chris will beat it, simply because it'* a hobby for him, not something he pays the bills with (he works at HP with me).

Chris took the time to calculate my boost and fuel pressure to simulate actual conditions that my injectors will operate under. Pretty cool, and very meticulous. Not making light of your cleaning and matching, at all, John. Just looking for a good comparison.
