Default Downpipe Question

Im doing the exhaust on my 94 ssei this week. I was looking to order a downpipe for the vehicle to get a little more performance and i cant seem to find to many downpipes for this car i have to be missing something. I check series 1 performance nothing there that i could see.

Thanks in advance.

Nobody offers a downpipe for the S1 L67. And as a result, nobody runs them. I actually suspect that ours flow a bit better than the S2 anyway, but I have yet to crawl under and measure.

My downpipe on the Zilla is stock, and I don't think it'* holding me back.

I did a quick search and couldnt find anything but what is our stock piping size it seems to be 2.5". So is upgrading the pipe diameter help much on these cars.

Nope, only a few have installed exhaust piping bigger than 2.5 since you will lose low end torque and power, the only mod you will need for the exhaust right now is a new magnaflow cat, and eventually porting your exhaust manifolds.

There are perhaps 3 or 4 cars on this Forum that can outflow 2.5" piping. I might be starting to push that limit on my 93.
