Does the SSEi have cornering lamps? I was pretty certain mine didn't have them. I treid the directionals and didn't see anything happen up front besides normal amber blinker action. The owner'* manual says theres a fues for turnsignals, brake interlock, backup lamps, and "cornering lamps". I don't even see a bulb in the lenses for a cornering lamp.

If it doesn't really have them, I'm going to go ahead and make my own using the, what appears to me, empty lens areas for the new bulbs.

A cornering lamp does not blink. It'* a regular clear bulb that stays on steady when the turn signal is on, to light up the area or corner you are turning into. Looks like I'm gonna have to make my own. They really do help with visibility at night when turning.

My 93 Olds 88 have them and they are nice, especially if you live in the country. They are super bright and probably light up a good 100 ft on whatever side you're turning.

I think they're more for safety, they usually shine on oncoming drives when turning too.

for those of you who don't know what they are, this is an example of what a cornering lamp looks like. (this is obviously the one on the Riviera. )
