Does heatwrapping the CAI benefit the N/A?
I dropped a line to my bro who works at NAPA about heatwrapping my intake pipe so it won't soak the engine heat and degrade performance. My bro said no don't do it, it won't make a difference anyway and it'll just make your engine bay even uglier. WHAT?
I know lowering the IAT on a */C improves performance but does it help a N/A? even through air is not being compressed in my cylinders?

i have mine wrapped, i don't have an data points, but i know it can't hurt.
i would think that the reflection of the engine radiant heat is a good thing. And unlike wrapping the headers there is no possibility of tube damage.
anyone else actually taken any measurements on this issue?
