Default DHP PCM Project for Bonnevilles

Being that I own and love Bonnevilles and that I'm a tuner for Digital Horsepower, I have decided to get off top dead center with the Bonnevilles as we are nearing completion on the 97 GTP PCM'*.

Here'* the dope:

1995 and Pre OBD2 Bonnevilles, (I have code, CHIPS are special order 4 week delivery)
1996 Bonneville - Need to do more testing, Beta PCM works AWESOME, 4T60E Skips Shifts like the GTP'*!
1997 Bonneville - Need a Michigan/Ohio Based Test Car
1998-1999 - Need a Test Car
2000 - Have code figured mastered need to flash and test new features
2001-2002, Also need test cars.

Anyone wishing to dyno-tune their Bonne here in Detroit please e-mail me @ dave@buckshaw.com

Is this chip for the 95 models made by DHP or ASE ?? I have a '95 with an ODB II connector.. Why wont the '96 beta PCM work on our 95'* too, everything is the same as far as motor and tranny?

'95s are OBDI, despite the connector. It was the odd year, with the old PCM and the new connector. Everything changed in '96.

I think it would work. The PCM was virtually unchanged in 1992-1995 Bonnies (IIRC), so the chip should work.

I believe they will be coming out with them. Right now they have been concentrating mainly on OBD-II but I think the 3800performance.com website says they eventually want to go all the way back to 88 3.8 cars.

When you say it 'skip shifts', what do you mean?
I've got a '96 Olds LS with the Series 2 3.8 L36 engine. What will the chip cost for that motor?

it means when you are cruising and you really wanna hit it, you floor it, and depending on your rpms, the car can shift from 4th all the way to 2nd, without hitting 3rd gear....
