ok i have a question for you all..... i just got a dhp v1.0 but how can i realy tell that its a dhp and not just another stock computer? and one thing my freind asked me was how do you know if you dont already have one in your car? does dhp,zzp,intense or any of the other sellers put any special markings on them?? or can i run the numbers on the case to see if it has been flashed??? or anyhthing liek that, know what i mnean. thanks....

The only real test is to read the bin with an editor.

I remember seeing some PCMs with intense stickers on them.

If you want to tell, put it in and see where she shifts, etc..

mine just looks like a norm delphi pcm but it has a sharpie marking that says DHP V1.0 but it looks like i was wrote on there about 3 yrs ago. ill post pics latter

All of our shipped PCM'* are labeled with the VIN they were created for along with the operating system and code stage as well as with an INTENSE sticker. If we flash the PCM inside the car then these things are not added. I can't speak for other vendors and their methods of marking however I would be very careful about putting in a PCM that was not designed specificaly for your car'* make model year and mods.
