custom tune

theres a guy in town that has a dyno and does custom tunes. i was woundering if a tune would have any benifits on an na car ?

Oh ya, I just noticed that. I'm thinking not, that'* a locked PCM I believe.

There was some talk about being able to tune it for around $500, but without any mods that would require tuning I wouldn't consider that a worthwhile gain for the money

Thats what you can get a canned tune for a 3800 for, but since you can't mod your car other than a cold air intake and exhaust there is no point to spending all that money to tune it
