Anyone using crossed drilled rotors on there 96-99 bonne'*? If so where did you get them and how much. I cannot find anything online anywhere.

Cross drilled are not usually good for our cars.....the slotted are usually recommended

RSM makes them for the Bonnes and WillWren has them on his 93....NAPA also sells slotted ones too

Ive been looking for RSM rotors, and cant find them actually for sale anywhere...

Will, i assume they havent warped? Where can i get them? and What pads would you recommend?

My commute to and from school (very hilly, very defensive driving.. its a crowded college town and i usually have a full carload) Has helped me run through 2 sets of rotors in the last year. The first of which warped beyond turnability and the second feel like they are on their way out.

AHEM! Read my mod list. I ditched the RSM'* after they warped for the second time, and RSM has SHITTY customer service these days.

I have Powerslots on the 93 now. They work great, and several sources on the internet offer free shipping. I run these with ceramic pads.

I had PowerSlots all around on my 2000 GTP with ceramic pads...didn't take me long to toast them...and the other 3 sets of rotors also in a space of 22,000 miles. That said though Bill drives like a ***** compared to me :P .

I have slotted rotors on the SSEi which I slotted myself and use ceramic pads with them. They've done a bit better but now at 16,000 miles they're toast too

As far as I'm concerned, pads and rotors are disposable and I expect to replace them every year.

I warped my RSM'* in under 10k, then warped them again 5k later. :P

I'm a rotor-killer too. If my powerslots last 15k, I'll be happy. The 93 is the toy, and gets all the good stuff. You gotta pay to play. I'm quite sure OEM rotors wouldn't have lasted as long, and certainly don't work as well as slotted/ceramic.

Most people will have longer success than Foghorn and I on their brakes.

I am going to be needing some rotors soon too and was wondering why the cross-drilled rotors aren't good. I had heard they were supposed to provide more airflow to keep the brakes cooler (so they work better). Also heard that the slotted ones wear the pads down faster because they shave a bit of pad material off with every revolution. Have I been getting some bad information?
