What is our best option besides the Intense FWI? In knowing some people who used to work there and some dealings I have heard but won't repeat on a public forum or in PM (so dont ask) I really dont want to do buisness with them. Not saying they are a bad company, I would just prefer to take my buisness elsewhere. Also to me the Intense FWI looks cheap, but hey if it works why not. I may end up just making my own, using aluminum tubing or something.

If you use aluminum tubing, you'll probably end up right where the JMB intake did.
And your subtle hints about INTENSE won't get you far here. INTENSE is held in the highest regard on this Forum. INTENSE has always taken the 'high road' in the dealings you refer to, and we're not about to turn this topic into a ZZP/INTENSE issue.
I can tell you from first-hand experience that the INTENSE FWI is far from cheap. It'* well built, well-designed, and alot of thought and testing obviously went into it. It'* been compared back-to-back with other types of intakes in the same car, and has always come out on top from testing.

for a 2000+ bonneville, the second best option would be the Thrasher Intake, with the mild modifications.
We are sorry to hear that you and or some people you know may have had some bad experience with Intense. FWIW; It seems that nearly EVERYONE on this forum has nothing but good things to say about Intense

I guess my thought pattern is still influenced by the much coveted ADTR intake. I was hoping to go with a very similar intake tube as the ADTR. It just seemed to make the best laminar flow than anything even slightly corrugated, or wavy.
Was the ADTR not powdercoated aluminum?

WHOA! - surprised no one else is running the JNB intakes! I beg to differ with anyone not having luck with these. I have been running this intake for nearly a year now and have no problems whatsoever with it. It was a bit tougher to install than a simple flex hose, but when done correctly have had no issues. (I think my time slips also support the performance results as well)

Ive had no issues with my intense FWI. I love it actually. Also on a side note, I never knew I had KR or knock as I have never felt it, but a quick scan on a Tech II at my brothers shop indicated there was.

You never can know what could be happening without doing some scans
the only other known member who used the JMB intake had MORE KR with the JMB than with the stock airbox or intense fwi options. no other changes had been made between scans
