corsica engine swap
i have a 90 corsica with the 2.2 in it and was wondering what it would take or if it is even possible to put a gen2 3.8 in it. i figured at the least i'd need the motor/wiring/electronics and the tranny, and i would be upgrading the brakes. i thought it would be fun to build a corsica up to around 350hp because around here everybody goes for the wannabe muscle cars, ricers, and trucks they think are fast. (damn i hate living in this hick town)
i'm also thinking about leaving the rest of the car the way it is (dent/gouge down pasenger side, small spots of paint falling off, and spray painted rims off a 91 cavalier), and have the only thing really giving it away are bigger brakes, the exhaust, and extra gauges, just to increase the sleeper look

Back in 2000 when I was on www.beretta.net someone put a 3.8 in a white Corsica. There was some company that sold conversion kits. You might want to check out beretta.net for more info.

Corsica / Beretta was the L body and Grand am is the N Body... But either way they have swapped 3800'* into them.. Hell they have even squeezed them into the J body
