Put me down for one please. On a completely different note, I'm interested in getting one also. Will you let us know when they are available? |
whats the price for the reg. L36?
|
Both the L67 and L36 use the same elbow

Why don't you guys go to Home Depot, get a 90° brass "L" with female threads in each end, and put two male barb fittings in?
That's what I'd have on mine if it had the Elbow. You can do this for less than $10 at HD or any plumbing supply house. All you need to take with you is the hose so you can select the right barb fittings and L inside diameter for flow. |

And they are in a very confined space. |
So why not drill and tap the LIM and tensioner assembly, use 2 male fittings (possibly cut them down, and a small section of hose? There has to be enough space for that.
And for people who don't know, we are manily talking about the elbow in the bottom of the previous pic. |
I like Mike's idea ALOT. However, it would depend on having the LIM off the car to do it cleanly.
For the next victims of the UIM failure, or the next person to do LIM gaskets, it would be cool to coach them through a total replacement. |
Hey, whats the deal with these? I just found out mine is broke agian. If it's not a ton more than a new one I'd like to give it a shot.
