Default Cool Air Intake

I got me a CAI finally, Thanks again 94bonni, though the filter started to aggravate me when i had to 'recharge it' 4 times...and its still not completely clean, but it'* good and almost white now, lol. There was no way I was gonna keep it red, unless i had some other red stuff under the hood, and i dont plan on it so its Gloss White...though after the fact i think Flat White would have looked more in place, but w/e

one problem i think i might have is, 94bonni didn't have the double washer fluid tank, i do, im hoping it will still fit...i kinda held it up over the engine in the general area and it kinda looks like i may have a problem, but just by a tad, so i may end up having to cut the pipe more...

I got my acrylic sheets to make a box, im wondering though what to use to connect the sides, what have you used...or what opions of what i should use

You could just use a caulking glue. And is your filter a K&N? It'* not supposed to be white. Paper filters are white....

Cut your pipe at an angle at the TB to make it fit. Your reducer too, if necessary.

You probably killed that filter by recharging it 4 times. It should be red, not white.

the filter will turn white when its cleaned

you WANT to have the filter RED...the Red color is actually the K and N oil

i wouldnt run that filter with out the Oil on the filter....you need to purchase a recharge kit

I HAVE the K&N Recharger Kit

I 'recharged' the filter four times because the first 3 times did not do the job completely

The filter is now white because it is cleaned, i know and will oil it before it goes on the car...

probably after it has gone on and off a few times while i make the box...cuz i dont wanna keep touching it and getting the red oil all on me and other things constantly...but it will be oiled before the car is started

There is a limited number of times you can clean that before the media starts to break down. You should have cleaned it once and re-oiled it per the instructions.

You should only have to clean it once or twice a year at most.
