Conversion Question?
Im sorry this might have been posted before but...i cant find it anywhere.
So is there any threads on here about switching a */C 3800 into a SE model bonneviille???
Because i have a 1994 SLE with the regualar (as far as i know) 3800 series I in it. I also have acces to a 1995 SSE with the supercharged 3800 in it, that someone has started parting out. It has a very good body and a good motor. So i would like to know how hard would it be to switch this motor into my SLE? I think this would be awesome to do because of the weight diffrence in the SE models and the SSE'*.

Yeah, it would be cool to do the swap.... but how about joining the small contingent of us who try to make our normally aspirated motors go fast? Save the money on the L67 and get yourself a cam, a good intake and exhaust setup, and a performance computer. You'll never be as fast as a blown car, but you'll be more unique! That'* just my biased opinion, though. If you've got the coin to spare and the resources, I suppose go ahead and do the swap
Im thinking about just buying the SSE with the supercharged motor in it and restoring it. Becasue only thing it needs is some missing body parts and a good tuneup. There for i would to nice Bonnevilles. 2 is always better than one
