I bought that when I was in Iraq, then I went to Korea for a year. When I got back from Korea I noticed that over half of my tools were "missing" from my ex-wife'* house. Can't change the mount without a jack. Dumb woman!

Did you see any MPG gains with the CIA from JMB?

Nope. Just a really cool sucking sound at start and you can REALLY hear the supercharger whine at WOT, even with the stock pulley.

Yea, no MPG gain, but you need the extra air flow to support additional mods such as dropping pulley sizes and whatnot.

Ok so what does dropping the pulley size do on the Supercharger? Make more boost b/c its spinning faster? Does that help fuel mileage? Prolly not if your foot is in the gas all the time, Haha.

Dropping a pulley size increase the RPM'* on the supercharger, resulting in more boost, and more getty up and go. However, if you don't support it with improved intake (CAI) and improved exhaust (headers, high flow cat) and a tune, you aren't getting full potential from dropping the pulley size.

This does not improve mileage.

Gas mileage improving mods will come from making the engine flow better, not shoving more air into it. So a CAI can be the start of increasing your mileage. Others include port/polishing of your supercharger, your heads, basically all of your manifolds. Then adding headers and a more free-flowing exhaust. Moving air efficiently is what will up your MPGs, shoving a lot more air into the engine will make them go down as the engine will have to increase the fuel to compensate for the extra air in the mixture.

My favorite mod was modified 1:9 ratio rockers. Adds a lot of giddy up and get, and may have actually improved MPG... it certainly didn't decrease it.
