Do you mean removing orange or making the front of the lens smooth?

I think he'* talking about making the front headlights smooth. That would be the shizzle.

As an example, my SHO has clear headlights. Consequently when I upgraded to a 100W wiring harness and Silverstars I had clear white light with no distortion. My wife has been after me to get the same effect for her lousy OEM headlights. I have already installed the PIAAS. My guess is that because of the design of the lens I'm losing tons of light potential. So....I want to make them clear. You say I can find this info in Tech session?
This is the effect I'm going after. Whoa - sorry about the size - Admin - care to reduce?

Whoah!!! Enough lights??? Not an easy task. Would have to remove the lens and have someone who knows glass smooth it down (no doubt a not-so-easy task). Good luck and if you get it done you will be the first and no doubt many will follow.

Nope. They started making the headlights clear in 1996. Unless there is a way u can do the mod yourself, I don't know any other way or a place that sells it.

You can't smooth them out, and it'* not cutting out on light. On ones with the clear lenses, the lines like that are behind the bulb, they make the light reflect in different directions, and help with visibility.
