Default Car jumps when I stop

I've recently been having a problem when I go to stop at a light. I slow down to a stop and it stops then does a quick short jump and stops. Any clue what my next step should be? I had my plugs changed about 10,000 miles ago or so I think. I just changed my oil and had fluids checked thinking it might make a difference. Made no difference. The Service Engine Soon light has been on for about the same time. I thought not to worry about this as it'* come on and off before. Another member mentioned going to Auto Zone where I guess they may diagnose cars. That'* my next step of action. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi Dan, I went to Auto Zone and the code is P0102 and the printout says "Definition sensor low input signal. Probable cause: Large vacuum leak, Leak in Air duct tube, Open or short circuit condition, Faulty MAF sensor". When I asked the guy how much the part to repair would cost he looked it up and came up with a Cardone Reman manufactured part for $139.99 and core charge of $87.00. I understand I get the $87 back when I give them the old damaged part from my car.

Not worried about the car'* idling being rough anymore. Bill put my mind at ease. Seems this P0102 problem is another issue I hadn't expected. I guess that'* what having a car is all about, the unexpected.
