Default Can you put a pulley for a SII L67 on a SI?

Hey guys, I'm from W-body.com looking to hopefully buy an early L67-powered Bonneville SSEi like around a '92 or so. Can the performance pulley for the series-II L67 be swapped on to the Series-I? Just wondering. I'd like a little more "umph" for my money

nope.... the 92-95 pulley from an M62 is keyed while a 96+ M90 pullley is press fit...

you need a 2.2? pulley for performance

the m62 and the m90 pulleys re not interchangeable. you can run a 2.2 on a m62 with supporting mods

Look for a 93. It had a more efficient valvetrain and a few other improvements. 94 and 95 had the nasty hybrid OBD1/OBD2 PCM.

92 and 93 had the flash feature in the PCM for reading codes with a paperclip, and also were the last years that you could extract codes from the ECCC without the need to take it to the dealer.
