drilled rotors are generally bad since they warp and crack much easier than others. the general consensus on this forum it seems is either regular or slotted.

High end sports cars use drilled rotors which last for years...however the product on ebay may or may not be the same quality as what comes with say...one of these:

yea, im gunna guess that those porsche rotors are REALLY expensive.

drilled low end rotors crakc the super high end ones dont though. go with the slotted. you can get some cheaper ones and not have them crack between the holes as rasily

if you are getting drilled you want to be sure that the holes are cast in BEFORE they make the rotor.....holes that are drilled in after lead to cracking

also when you have a solid rotor and go to a drilled one, you also want to increase the size of the actuall rotor to make up for the loss in the surface area caused by the holes

Slotted rotors are recommended more often on the club, FWIW.

If you're interested in opinions, I think you would be doing just as well to get a nice Raybestos (or other high quality brand) rotor from your local parts store. But if you're looking for a good, non-traditional rotor, the Powerslots seem to be the brand of choice in our application.
