I have to buy new pads for my Bonneville And I was wondering which one you guys recommend.

I'm running mid grade pads....I'm very happy with them...they're semi-metalics....but if you're looking to combat dust build up then Ceramics are the way you need to go. They stop better, quieter...and keep your wheels a lot cleaner.

I've never heard bad things about EBC stuff. If you can find them for your car you've hit the jackpot.

i thought ceramics were supposed to stop worse without slotted rotor, especially when wet. However i've got ceramics in the front and absolutely love them for not having dust. Stopping power feels the same.

from wat I hear.. ceramic pads are harder on the rotors or OEM style rotors.. thats why it'* said to go with slotted rotors.

So you may warp and or shorten the life of the rotors

Ok which company do you guys recommend for the pads ?

That is why the newer cars & trucks have warpage issues, espcially the Grand Am/Alero & Malibu/Classic series. For longevity, can't be beat. They DO dust though!

Raybestos Quiet-Stop ceramics do NOT dust. Not at all.

I would think they would have to dust somewhat. Maybe just not as much or as noticeabe as other pads.
