Bonneville/LSS suspension - interchangeable?
I have a 95 LSS, i want to lower the car an inch - inch and a half, and stiffen the springs/struts, in addition to all new front end (steering, brakes, hubs, et al.. i'm replacing Everything) if i order a bonne suspension (coilover assembly) will it do the job? what'* the best route for a lower stance and better handling.
also, if i order supercharged axels for the front (i was told they're stronger, and they're a different part #) will they bolt to a n/a srs2
thanks
joe

Right now the best option for lowering is: Get your springs from Coil Spring Specialties and get the best possible stock replacement shocks/struts you can find.
I would stay away from KYBs. I went 2" front and 1.5" rear with a stiffness similar to F41 spec and the KYBs just could not keep up. They work well on other platforms from what I've read but not on W or H bodies.

Being that you have a 95 LSS, most likely with the 3.06( FW2 ) Gear ratio you should also have the HD axles.... For the 95-96 Model years, if you had the 3.06 Gear ratio or the 3800 SC you got the HD axles

Search for Monroe shocks/strut opinons and reviews on here. IIRC H-bodies may be able to get a better Monroe shock/strut that has been discontinued?

thanks for all the replies, that spring specialties link is no doubt the one i was looking for
we have a monroe/BJ'* tire center nearby, i'll give them a call later this afternoon and research what i can for the shocks,
and yea - my handle is misleading, but given its my 3rd LSS and this one WILL BE supercharged at some point, it'* more a constant reminder of the work i have yet to do on the car lol, i searched high and low for a */c LSS i could afford, there weren't any (although there'* one f/* now on boston craigslist Right Now for $3k with 105k on the clock, heads up people!!) so instead, i bought the cleanest, meanest, N/a LSS i could find for later swappage.
suspension
brakes
body
interior
engine
that'* where i'm headed.

A lot of us really haven't done a suspension drop...
Mike(Nasta95) did his and it did look good.. Sat nice and mean looking..
There are several of us that went to the FE2/F41 Firm Ride suspension...
But being that you have an LSS check the codes in your trunk and see if you have the FE2/FE3 or F41( Look at the spare tire cover for the Codes )....
I have said this a few times here... GM did some odd things with their suspensions... A local member to me has a 93 SSEi that rides softer than my F41 Swapped SE Bonneville... But when we get into his all original 1994 SSE, the car Feels like a Stiff Touring Sedan and sits Low.... I just love driving that car.... It feels like you are putting on a glove when you get into it.. And then to throw it around the twisties..... Droooool....
You could have 2 of the exact same cars with the same suspension FE2, and have 3 or 4 different ratings for that one set up.... Leave it to GM

on the spare tire cover, it has a listing of parts codes -
in the column, all the way to the right, it says F41 on the 2nd? row down, what does that entail?
