WOW! Now I am understanding why we don't have a club decal. NO BODY CAN AGREE ON ANYTHING. Ok, maybe on everybody wants clear decals. Also nobody has put any interest on funding this. I have found a vendor with what I thinks is a really good price and have said I could put $30.00 forward but I have not seen anybody else say they could help at all. Everybody would get their money back after the decals were distrubuted but that would take awhile.

I am sorry I sound a little mad but I would really like to see this happen but everybody else just seems to like to throw words and ideas around but never act on them.

These are the decals that I like best.

This one would be hard to get on a clear decal.

I have had a similar problem with my store sticker and actually I have quite a few totally different stickers out there. Even a rice looking one. All my stickers ended up being chrome or very simple. Currently I give the customer the chance to tell me what they want so it will match their car. lol even my stickers are custom.

Ok my point is it would be better to offer a few styles 3 to be exact and the people who are very interested in a certain style can have it made. I know for a fact that the flag with the Bonneville v will be the winner and can be made. BUT there is a store and other forum now using this logo, actually they have been using it for quite some time. Soooo that means we should be very careful about that sticker choice. I think the club should use the logo it has for a base rear 1/4 window sticker and invent new stickers that are slightly more radical for the buyer who wants a more aggressive look.
to cover all the states and there rules I am going to use some information Jeff shared about his state. I think the top windshield sticker had to be no thicker than 2 1/2 inches and could go across the whole windshield.

Now as for the rear that is alot different in every state but hey lets just leave that up to the customer for the size.

Basic lay out thoughts

If you put words above and below the sticker will look square even if it is clear.

If you put the words only above or below it will be better if they follow the contour or shape of the car slightly.

The Pontiac symbol is a nice symbol because it can be made in may different forums and made separate from the letters. This would give a custom picture option to go with the lettering. You could make the inside of the symbol different colors and the edge different based on the "look" you are after. You could also add pictures/graphics of headlights and fog lights to the picture for effect.

No matter what the base sticker needs to be simple non obtrusive. That will sell and work to make our presence known outside the bits and bites world.

A clear background with white lettering would work best, I could see cops getting their panties in a bind with white backgrounds. "Obstructs view" or something.
How can we get you $$$ help fund this and get it rolling?

I would buy one and be willing to give the site some money too, but I dont really like the logo, I did like logo# 5.

I like the one by Damemorder that one would look cool going right along the lower part of the back window, and maybe like a cool one to put in the back part of the backseat windows or something too.
I have no idea how to make a design either sorry...

I like some of the logo designs people have posted. The "3800 Powered" is a good catch phrase, but what happens when the GXPs come out in a year or so.
I've heard that they don't have the good old 3800 in them. :( But then again a 300hp V8 stil sounds very nice.

(Just trying to look ahead for us future GXP owners)

Here'* my submission for the club sticky/decal.

I was trying to think of some Pontiac tag lines that suit the Bonneville.

"Built for passing lanes, not parking lots" was a good one.
"Luxury with Attitude" is always a good tag line.
