A couple guys I know are big into BMW'*, well, one'* my brother. But his friend has an M3 and recommended Bilstein struts.

Now I doubt they have an application for our cars, but does anybody know? Or if some other application they have would fit....OR if they're really worth it anyway?

Otherwise I'd get Sensatracs for the front.

Same for SSE on their web site. SSEi is not listed at all.
My guess is they need to know specific options to determine the correct part.
I doubt they will support ELC.

Bilstein is a high pressure monotube design; they give very good response and control but some people find them too firm or harsh.

They are excellent quality.

The GP GXP'* have Bilstein struts. I wish I had them on my car, they are great.

Greyhare, I'll look into it. Thanks for the research. I wouldn't mind a firm ride but I'll do more research. I am going for a controlled ride that will handle corners well. Struts will be a starting point.

As far as the right struts for the back..in general what do I need to support ELC?

I will defer to the gear heads but, I belive the ELC air springs are integrated with the rear shocks.

Ok, so any kind of air shock. Makes sense.

No. An air shock is just air.

ELC shocks are gas, with air assist.
