Beldin is the way to go. They are 7mm however the lifetime warranty means you get a new wire anywhere on the planet if you need it. Wires get brittle over time and if you change your plugs every 100k you are bound to break a stocker (or other wire for that matter). I run them on my car without issue.

I'm sold!

Thanks.

Stupid question: so these are only available at NAPA? I'm not sure of a NAPA around me.

so maybe the BEL700042 are different from the BEL700431 in the 1mm difference? meaning i should have asked for wires for a series 1 and not series 2

Guys.... 8mm is the size for certain applications, 7mm for others. The Belden wires for my '97 were supposed to be 7mm, so I asked for a few different sets from different years of Bonneville until I found the ones that were 8mm. IIRC, 1995 and earlier SSEi models are listed as 8mm in Napa'* computer, though '96 and newer is only 7mm.

You're both right. Andrew'* wires are 7mm, and Hans has 8mm on his '93. Call Napa and verify if you want to make sure

Randman did that ... got the wires in the 8mm. Problem was found that they aren't all the right length. You come up a little short on a couple.
