I believe that allot of people do it themselves or take theres in and have them done, and heat treated.....

noone on here has done the Series 2 PEM's themselves

So what does everyone do for exhaust aroung here? Fab headers somehow?

VinnieGTP 09-08-2006 03:21 PM

Lemme ask you guys this:

Is it just that GP rear mani will not bolt up the the bonne DP? If that is the case what if I run a full GP exhaust?

Great link with pics.

But again, can you use the GP rear manifold if you replace the rest of the DP/cat with GP parts. I have a welder guys and I'm not against having to weld some pipe together but I just dont want to have to weld a whole DP....I'm no where near that good yet.

So what is it the high HP guys are using? Rogue/Todd - Please chime in here.

no.. the manifold/dp will be offset and probably be really close to the firewall

all the higher performance cars are using headers, mostly SLP, that come with a DP

VinnieGTP 09-09-2006 09:54 PM

SLP headers for a Bonne? Where?

harofreak00 09-09-2006 09:56 PM

http://www.intense-racing.com/Mercha...eaders_400.jpg

SLP™ Ceramic Coated Headers
Code:SHK-3007x
Price: $699.99

they arent listed on the site as usable on a bonneville because you have to do some slight modding, but they do work

Oooooo.. they're perdy.
