I didn't test the coils at all, but I'm thinking I should because today on my way home from work with a light mist the car ran perfectly smooth. I'm wondering one of the coil packs is cracked and moisture is getting in and creating a curcuit that was broken. Anyhow, I'm going to get some coils from a yard on Friday (off a 1997-newer hopefully), and a ignition module. Hopefully with those and the ECm from Damemorder Ol Blue will be running smooth again, and maybe, just maybe, I'll get OD lockup for the first time in a long time.
Anyhow, I'm liking the Beldens. They are very thick, with good insulation -even slightly thicker than the 8MM Spiro Pro'*. Oh, it is so nice to be back in the power. Would've been nice to have had these before I went to the track last week -can hardly wait for August 25th. Maybe a 16.0? Also, I hope to have the manifolds and heads ported by then, so if I do -maybe 15.7-15.8'*, especially with the header wraps.

I was just at Nappa in St Louis Park (main store) and tried to buy the Belden wires, along with all my gaskets and ect for the lower manifold . They only had the 7mm set. I want the 8mm set. Are you sure the ones you bought are 8mm. If so would you happin to have the part number. Im looking to replace mine but dont want to down size to 7mm.

They are definitely 8MM Belden'* -I just went out to the car to get the part # and to verify 8MM.
The part # on my reciept says # 700431. Whether that'* a NAPA # or a Belden # I don't know, but NAPA will know.

Just purchase a set of Beldens today, with a 115k miles on my Bonneville and it having AC Delco ign wires, most likely orginial I'll have a performance gain without a doubt.

Just got back from visiting my local napa which is privately owned and sure enough they had the 8mm wires, numbers match yours OLBlueEyesBonne thanks for checking on that for me.
As far as 7mm being stock - I believe mine are stock 8mm. The numbers on the wires indicating which cylinder to go to - are kind of a give away. I have tried 7mm and the wires didnt fit snug in the holders, i brought them back.

BTW -Did you get plugs too? Now would be the perfect time for changing them if you haven't changed them in a while -just don't let them slip you NGK TR6'* when you ask for TR55'* like they did to me -too bad I didn't notice until I was home and had 3 of them installed with a gap of .058" -luckily I still got better MPG'* as I am up from 24mpg to 28 mpg'*..TR55'* are the coldest you'll want unless your engine is blown (aka supercharged or turbo'ed) or injected (nitrous, water/alcohol, chryogenics).

Well, I soppose I had better get those plugs - sounds like they are the cats meow. I still need to make one more stop for a PVC valve (and those plugs) then my list is complete for the upper half overhaul and then hurry up and wait for my upper plenum to arrive in the mail. I still have a lot of cleaning to do. I had better get my *** out to the garrage.

I just ordered the 8mm and didn't notice you guys have N/A !!!!!
Will it fit ??? I need to know ASAP cause guy ordered the 7mm for my L67.. it just came in.. called him to ensure.. called him again to give him part # for the 8mm. Then notice you're N/A Crap !!!!! I don't want him to have that in stock also and say.. sorry buddy.. re-oder the 7mm again.
