The trick is gonna be getting the tires to stay on the ground as much as possible. that'* the reasoning for the 4-link and wheelie bars

Good luck with that
I have a feeling this thing isn't going to stop at 8'*. With the stronger transmission options that go with RWD, you guys can pretty much go as far as you want with that motor, right? Does anyone know the theoretical limits for a Series 2/3?

We think the limit of the crank is 1000 hp. We plan to test that theory

Haven't you already? The last time I saw numbers on the white car, it was somewhere around 950hp. I would think that in two years since I saw those numbers, Scott would have made further improvements. Or are you guys concentrating on suspension andweight reduction to improve your times?

Actually, the numbers are bad in that video. He smoked the tires on the dyno, add probably 5-10% and you'll be closer to actual output. But I'd love to see how Tim'* car stacks up to that one in the 1/4.

You know, as many times as we've discussed that vid, and I've sworn blue that it was a 3.8...

...it'* not. Google search mentions in several links that it'* a V8

EDIT, also rumor post in one place mentions that he may have been running on only 7 cylindes at the time.
