is this bad?
So i think that the IAT is on the bottom of my intake box right? Well if that is so then mine has not been in for al ong time and i have never found out until today? Has this affected my engine in anyway at all?

You've had inaccurate IAT readings. Most likely hot, which will lean out your fuel mixture. Bad for acceleration. It can have a positive effect for highway cruising. Similar to when my fuel pump was losing power when it got warm. My highway MPG went down 2 or so when I put a new pump in and was actually meeting my fuel demand. Don't forget the half inch un-filtered hole in the air box.
