Default Autolite 104'* and Heat insulation

I will be running then on my L67, headers, 3.4, tune. What should I gap them to?

Also, there will be some firewall cutting done, and the guy who'* working on my car would like to use some kind of heat resistant dynamat type material to insulate heat a bit. Does such a thing exist? Any other suggestions on what could be used?

check SecondSkinAudio dot Com. I used a lot of their stuff for sound deadening and think they had some underhood heat related products as well. Not cheap ....but quality sometimes isn't.
