APC
I insalled an apc intake for a 92-95 civic the other day
it fits perfectly into the original airbox area
it sounds funny from idle to 2500 but from there, it sounds beautful. my highe rpm hp definely had an increase. It took awhile to install beause i had to do 2 small changes for a perfect fit. te be part is that it was around $70

I think i have a digital camera so i'll try to get pictures soon
the filter came with the pipe, but the jeg'* catalog that I ordered from was old and didn't say that it came together. the kit was 75.99 i think.
i believe that it is 3 inches. but,the rubber connector caused me cntroversey. the side to the throttle body was about 2.5 inches. I started out by turning the connector around so the pipe went over the connector and it fit well on the tb. But i was scared that it wasn't a good enough seal and caused turbulence. So with a little muscle, i stretched out the smaller side to fit around the pipe. FYI- i tried looking for rubber connectors but the napa near me didnt have them so i just gave my idea a shot.
The IAT fits ok into the tube that is provided for emissios or honda'* own iat. it can be cut down, but for right now, the safest bet for me was to leave it long so it wouldnt be hanging and be able to fall. right now im trying to stretch out the tube for a better fit around the whole IAT unit and to make it shorter for a better reading.
I wouldnt say that the apc intake is the safest bet (for our cars i mean) but it seems to work well, it was cheap, and it looks pretty cool. It did require some extra work, but it was still pretty easy to install

Does it look liek this?
This is the intake I picked up at a salvage yard for $20 and put in my Green/Ghetto gold 1994 SLE.

If these pics don't show, just go to my cardomain page and looks at the pics on page 2 (p.*. don't forget to vote)
