Default Any quiet aftermarket mufflers?

Here in Massachusettes my flowmaster will not pass inspection. I don't want to go back to stock. Any suggestions on other mufflers?

This doesn't quite answer your question, but did you keep the resonator after it was taken out? You might want to put it back in. I'm actually trying to ADD a resonator to my car, so I can use a Flowmaster without it being deafening. My car came w/o a resonator.

More resonators for sure. Or cherrry bombs/glasspacks, setup for quieting.

I've compared my car side by side with the exact same model, but with a res. 100% difference.

Depending on what model he has changes the story.

If you have an SSE or SSEi a late body F-Body flowmaster should pass inspection for sound levels if everything is done right.
