You guys have to share which parts you used! I am so broke, and my intake is so restrictive i get like 15mpg, and I KNOW its the intake [factory air filter at 150k!] is this under $50 because thats all I've got.

pipe - $45
coupler - $5
filter - $40
clamps - $3
tape insulation - $5
==================
total - ~$98
thats just a general estimate. If $50 is your budget I suggest you get a K&N drop in for your car. Its a K&N replacement filter that will go right in the factory spot.

I'm sure it'* been replaced..
After i wrapped mine in insulation, and made a half box for now, it doesn't have heat soak loss in performance. I can't see my shiney pipe anymore, but it'* ok to give up...

Nope, was overlooked, if anything it was replaced early on because its gray, and i KNOW OEM filters are white. It wasn't mine to change though, my dad didn't do much work on the car, and my mom couldn't afford anything for it since she referred to it as a "boat" because of its poor gas mileage, gee i wonder where the problem lies? The shot ignition and the air filter.. i bet i'll get 50mpt more, when i upgrade the stuff
What intake pipe is this?? I have heard a lot about it, and I have even seen a few of the intkakes they have up there. But what I was wondering is, the brand, size, model number, hell even a picture of the box it came in would be good. Thanks!

when I went to autozone it was the only one that they had, its marketed in orange packaging and the box says that its for a honda or integra, but with a little fabrication it can work well for us.

Good God man! Filters are like 10-20 bucks.....for the love of the car...
