Personally, if I'm gonna buy a magnet, I want the one that goes on your oil filter and traps metal particles. But yeah, basically, I'd lump both as ripoffs. You can buy magnets a lot cheaper than that...

If you get the chance, do not put Hard Drive magnets on your fridge. Them puppies are so strong, if you move them, they take paint with 'em!! Trust me....
