I have been checking around town for one and a couple exhaust shops told me a glasspack would work..is this true?

Yes. But for sound quality and effectiveness, I'd lean towards a true resonator. Glasspacks break down over time.

I disagree. The volume of mine didn't change. It remove the raspiness and popping. The 'drone' is still there. Either from the street or from the cabin. Quite notable around 2k rpm'*.

Here is my 95 SE with the stock Muffy and stock Res, with a highflow cat... This is just for reference... Rpm ranges are around the 1500-2000 mark

I think that sounds really good.

Do you have headers on it?

How is it crusing at 75-80 MPH on the highway?

Not to take over this thread... But I have no headers... just Ported Exahust Manifolds. And a Magnaflow High Flow Cat... These 2 things alone made a diffrence in the tone and sound.. Inside the car it stays pretty quiet... I don't think I will ever get rid of the resonator... Hope the Video below answers a few questions for you
