Default Air Intake Available on Ebay

Saw this over on Ebay. Looked like a very reasonable price for an aluminum intake. I just ordered one so I guess I'll see.

Crazydriver868 has one, and i'm tempted to get one before the trip.

Only problem is the IAT kinda isn't held in well.

Chrome Air Intake Induction for 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix SE, GTP and GT for 3.1, 3.4, 3.8 Series II V6 & 2001-2004 Chevy Impala 3.4, 3.8 Series II V6 & 1992-2003 PONTIAC Bonneville Engine!!!
Anything that universal isn't going to be an ideal fit. In fact, for it to fit that list of cars, it'll be too short for the Bonneville. You want that sucker (no pun intended) to place the filter RIGHT behind the headlight.

I think the fact it'* a short filter makes it look much smaller too. The filter has pleats on the inside of the cone as well. It won't be optimal though

I'm sure you could rig up a heat shield on it.

No, I'm not the seller. Just picked up a black 99 SSE and after seeing the prices of bonneville specific intakes, I thought I'd take a chance on this one. Although I may try to make somet kind of heatshield, I was thinking about using the heat shield I found here:

http://www.truckperformance.com/prod...Air+Management

Don't know if it is universal enough to mount on another universal intake, but again the price isn't too bad.
