I've been pondering this for monts and didn't know anyone has done it. I just noticed 95NAstA has this setup. He put a rice pipe though the stock gutted box. Anyone else run this setup? Does the air box really knock the temps down a lot?

This was a while back but with mine,
I gutted the box,
cut the front and front drivers side off the box,
and extended the cut portion to the rad support with cut out peices of lexan.
I didn't have a scan tool back then so I can't really say how well it worked but it was probably pretty good.
