People that grew up with less money or have less money now tend to be more mechanical inclined.

If I had the money I would have someone else do it too.

I just could never spend the kind of money that is being asked for this intakes sold on bonneville sites. I know its due to the fact that they have to ship it to you and you have to make some profit, but what would be really cool is if you guys sold just the intake pipes and/or so you could choose what type of filter you want put on it, whether it be a paper or cotton one similar to K&N. But I dont even know if you guys actually do your own shipping or simply have the supplier dump it out when the number of orders becomes high enough.

As I have posted before, there are 10 dollar cone filters that are made of paper that would make available a poor mans intake system. The Ractive filters are also very nice and I am having awesome results with it, heat shielded, more aerodynamic, I mean the works for only $25-30 bucks.

Most of US (Store Owners) get our suppliers to "Drop Ship" for us. This way we CAN keep the prices down as we then don't have to add in the price of shipping to us as well. As for "other" filter options, well I know I try to sell only the best I can find, that way there is no complaints on "Product Quality" when (No offense here) a "Cheap" POS filter shows up with an order that a customer didn't expect. There is alot of K&N "Knock offs" out there, I do sell them too like Ractive & APC, but I only sell them individually. I could sell the individual components too, but found most people want a "package" instead. Less time is involved this way to figure out how to piece it all together & find all the components needed.

You would also have to raise your prices if you wanted to supply the options that I suggested, which wouldnt be practical. The only way that your business will really pick up speed is if open a store in the US and adjust your prices accordingly with the us currency.

I am not expecting you to surprise your customers with a "POS" filter but it would be a good idea, and a unique one too, to offer a huge range of options.

So you could go down a list like...with drop down menus

Intake Pipe Type: Short ram or cold air
Color: *colors*
Filter: *filters*

Well you get the idea

Yea I made that thing a while ago, but I'm waiting on a true CAI that has the filter closer to the grill or to the bottom sco0p to be made. Or ill just try s0me new ideas..
There was no intake available @ all when I made mine, but the ones availible now seem to be of very go0d quality, and besides, they are made by a fellow Bonnie nut, so you know they would'nt hold back on performance.

I dont think it would help to have it closer to the grill.. I mean your radiator is there and coils, behind the headlight or down perhaps more to the bottom of the car.
