I'm interested!

My car isnt "slow", i was just hoping for a reaction from will.

But if I do have headers, they don't seem to be living up to the name. 170hp vs the 95 series II with 205hp.

I know I know, different efficiency! I just like to vent and be pissy sometimes.....because I WANT MY FRIGGIN JET CHIP! *pant* *pant* *pant*....sorry....getting carried away

If it doesn't come in tomorrow, let me know and I will call and find out exactly where it is for you.

Ok, let me clear this up. No matter what year you have, no one here has headers from the factory. They may be tubular in design, but they do not have collectors and the front exhaust manifold collects into the rear first and then to the cat. This is not a real headers. Plus the front and rear exhaust manifolds are logs. A real header is going to have each pipe seperate into a collector and the front and rear connect to the downpipe seperately allowing for as much exhaust gas to pass through as possible.

We need to move away from people thinking that the older exhaust manifolds are headers. Let me say this one more time, none of the factory exhaust manifolds are HEADERS. They are tubular, but their design is limited to only so much. That'* why when you do real headers on these cars, the */C engines gain 20 HP and 20 lb/ft to the WHEELS. Big difference between factory exhaust manifolds and true headers.

Sorry, just tired of the term "factory header" being tossed around. Not a header folks, just a tubular exhaust manifold.

I dont think we are going to make headers for the Series I since no one wants them. I am not going to say how much power because we have not decided if we want to try tuned specifically for the N/A and the */C seperate or the same. The $500 dollar price tag will be worth it since they will be made out of stainless steel. The Other Guys headers is not even that. Gains really depend on your modifications.

Thank God somone finally explained the whole header thing for everyone. Now that I am informed, I AM interested in the headers, but I am also curious about the performance. And if no one else is interested, I will still want some, so Hector if possible could I get some custom ones built, or will it be way to expensive on my end of the deal?

I'd certainly be intereseted in Series 1 headers for my 94 series 1. I've been holding off on doing a complete exhaust until i could do it right from the headers back, if u made them that would be great!
