With the GPs the exhaust sux so you have to upgrade it before you do pretty much anything.

The Bonne exhaust looks way better, so is it even necssary to do anyting to it before installing 1.9RRs?

Are you going to be spining the motor any faster? Maybe some ported manifolds and/or a high flow cat would go good with that? I hope your upgrading your springs also.

I got the whole package, RRs, springs, OR rods.

I was gonna do manifolds but it'* a DD and road trip car. It'* not going to see to high RPMs unless I feel froggy in the boat for some crazy reason.

Only real reason I'm doing it is cause I got the whole setup with less than 10K for $230!

You would have been better suited with a lower ratio if that is the case. And you wouldn't have needed pushrods or springs either. 1.9s take away from the low end in a n/a car.

You don't need to do any exhaust modifications. But PEMs will help your engine breathe better and make use of your shifted higer rpm band.
