An interesting result

No doubt with such a flat curve you'd do well at the track, or on the street if you're so inclined.

I've seen cars that have the opposite result, a big spike in peak power on the dyno but not very good on the street or strip.

While you might have expected higher numbers, the result is still good and I would take it over the example above any day.

Cheers,

I completely agree, guys.

I'm not trying to give myself kudos, but I would much rather have my power curve than a spike that reaches over 200whp with steeply sloping sides. I guess the other part of proving this setup will be a visit to the track. You can expect that to happen within a few weeks.

Well.... We DID "visit" a track... How goes the progress on sharing that story?

Hey a quick question, is it "WHOA" or "that'* better than before" feeling? Is it noticeably quicker?

See now i have a ?. Your mod lists states home made pems, that is great but.... what about the downpipe? is it stock? that could be atleast 5-7whp right there i bet. Just doing some thinking and stuff. If the dp is stock with that and a manual cut out (like $325) i would say 200whp. Also did you come up with a price lists like you were telling me in another topic?

I think they gutted the down pipe. Also the Downpipe on the bonevilles is not that restricted.

Stock downpipe. We were contemplating gutting it, but couldn't after the jerkfaces at the exhaust shop welded his cat in. They cut the flange off and welded it straight to the pipe. Suckage if you ask me.....

The stock L36 exhaust is already 2.5" until it exits the resonator... meaning the stock DP is designed for 2.5" exhaust. I don't believe a stock SE exhaust is restrictive at this point, though I could be wrong.

The downpipe with the sleeve in it is only 2.25". Think of it like a stepped header pipe going from 2.25 to 2.5. I feel the next trick is putting the 2.5" in past the res.
