Main transportation right now the old Nighthawk 650 I've been shifting carefully since it'* the only tranny I got
Tranny cooler is stock and engine temp stays around 160 as it should. Work commute is only 9 miles after the move back in Feb. so hardly has anytime to over heat.
Warning all you modders as Silver has said just a matter of time. Mine started to sound funny about a week and a half before she went. tic..tic..tic..
Oh and the number of track passes hum... let me get my stack....one....two...three ....four......twenty-seven......forty-six...... sixty-nine......seventy-two..........
87 times down the track total
22 runs w/ slicks
15.7 @ 80 to a 13.7 @101 not to bad.

dont' regret it, had some great times at the track
Don't think that numbers huge, many track days where empty could run 10-20 times if you wanted to hot lap, could of only been 5 track days, ok more like around 10-14 track days but hey whos counting. all the slick passes where in 4 visits.

Don't get me wrong, I was just being facetious. 10 mph is a lot in 1/4 mi racing.
Using the slicks ya that is worrying me but for some reason I don't think I'll get more than 2 track visits out of them.

If you decide to get a trans shipped from ZZP. My friend Steve (owner of Slingshot Motorsport in Fox River Grove, IL http://www.slingshotmotorsport.com). could install it for you at a very reasonable price. (I know this is more expensive, but another option.) He helped my do my motor swap (cam, heads, etc) back in Jan for my GTP.
We should hit the track when you get her back up and running. I'm all tuned up and ready to hit 13s.
Later,
Tommy
(PM me if your interested about Steve. I can give him a heads up.)

Tommy think I've seen you too, don't have the sticker on anymore, got rear glass replaced since then Thanks for the offer but a got the wheels in motion here. Going with an Atomic trans, meet the owner and saw the shop today. They'll call me tomarrow to tell me what gave out.
Think I'm done hitting up the track, I've lived my time there with this car, not going for more performance just a daily driver now, Been thinking about taking the nighthawk down the old 1320.

If that were the case sure, first Gen 2 LSD I took out when problems started to happen with others, put in revised gen 2 in fall and had ZERO track passes on it.
