Default 8-Ball hits the dyno again

Got a chance to hit the dyno again last night to see the effects of the intercooler. Previous best was 323 at the wheel. Came away last night with 338.4. At this point I think my stock heads and exhaust are a big restriction. Exhaust will probably be the first to get upgraded (or at least able to be dropped for track use) and probably heads in the future.

Thats not even max torque, its impossible to measure max torque unless you lock the converter which we never do. We have to pull to 3300 or so before flooring it or it will shift down and we make max torque well before 3300 rpm.

We did 5, we started safe on the pulley size then dropped down and started to add timing. I think i ended up with a 2.6 pulley and +7 timing. Can't really go any further with boost and timing so it looks like heads and exhaust time...or maybe an electric waterpump, that may free up 10 ponies or so.

Congrats there Todd, nice #'* there. Glad to hear your not stopping with the mods, you just seem to keep adding them on there. I remember when we were close, now no one cand keep up.

That'* what happens when one works for INTENSE. He just gets paid in parts, who needs the paycheck.
