Default 3.5 Intake tubing question

I've been looking for a good intake now I have the smaller SC pulley. I don't like the Thrasher because the filter is still in the engine bay and was going to get the Intense FWI. Then I came upon this from JBperformance.com:

I can get it in two pieces with a flex coupler. My only qusetion is, is should I get this one or the Intense FWI? Is 3.5 tubing to large? Thanks...............

Yeah and someone from here contacted him. He came over, got ahold of a member'* car, and fabbed one up. The post should be within he last few pages of this forum.

What'* the asking price for that? If it'* a lot higher or lower, I think the decisions easier, but if it'* about the same, a pro would be of better help.

That is defintely looks sick and effecient, I dont have the room that the v6 affords but that is first pipe setup that makes me want to gut out my N*. But the angle to make it work for GXP would be more restrictive.

there might be a BIT of added turbulance with a larger pipe, but i dont think it will be much of a performance difference between pipe sizes.. I would definately NOT buy the intesne, especially because the JBP one looks so much better and is a bit cheaper (keep in mind you need a pcm tray)

Make sure you buy one with a flex coupling at mid-pipe. Don't buy a one-piece. You need the flex (unless POSSIBLY the solid front motor mount mod would restrict engine flex enough).
