2000 SSEi blown engine
I have a 2000 Bonneville SSEi L-67 Series II */C motor with 100K. The car is stock, but I had the tranny rebuilt @ 75K, now I blew up the #6 cylinder...Don't know how. The car is immacculate and I'd like to fix it...I will be looking into a rebuild if the block is OK, and maybe some mods while I'm at it...Can anyone give me some guidance? The */C is in great shape.
I'd like to get a little more "fun" out of the car without any serious tweaking...Maybe a high-flow exhaust, smaller */C pulley...Basic stuff. I use it for my sales job, and I travel about 4-5K miles per month, so I still have to use it for reliable transportation, but a little extra fun would be worth it!

While the engine is open, you can throw in a new cam or rocker 1.9.
Combine with headers and a 3.4 pulley you will be pretty happy with the result.(3.25 with a cam)
(and some little supporting mods: Fender well intake, colder plugs, 180*stat)
