Default 2000 Bonneville SSEi Mods

I am looking for an easy Mod to my 2000 SSEi. I am looking to increase MPG and help shifting. What have you folks found as a good fairily straight forward mod that could help me out. I have installed iridium spark plugs nad a K & N air filter. I am not looking to max out performance just bump up my Fuel economy. I was thinking about getting my PCM reprogrammed? Any suggestion on who or where to do that? Or maybe another approach. Currently I am getting 30-32MPG highway on 93 octane Fuel. New to the forums with my first post here. Go easy on me.
Thanks in advance for any help or ideas you may have.
I am also going to be looking to improve my wifes bonneville which is a 1999 SLE at a latter date. These are my 3rd and 4th bonnevilles. Yeah I love bonne'*. Ticked that they stopped production. But I am positive a G8 is in the future.

A couple vendors that programm PCM'* are Intense-Racing.com and ZZPerformance.com. Keeping in mind that most would be looking for a performance pcm, they may be able to help out with an economy tune.

Other than that, your are doing well and getting good mileage. I can't think of other mods to help ecomony.

Hi - just found your post. I am also looking to improve mileage.

I think the mileage you are getting on the freeway is pretty good. I have 73K on my 2000 SSEI and I can get ~32 at 60-70mph if it is level.... but mostly in my area it is hilly and so the actual mileage varies a lot.

I think that perhaps with the shift kit for stiffer shifts and some sort of pcm we could get better... but probably not much. I'd imagine that any improvements we see would be in low speed mpg under where the transmission lock is active... say about 32mph or less. What do you think? I *dislike* getting 18mpg in town, and then seeing the mpg jump to upper 20'* on the freeway, and would love to improve mpg in town also.

Best Regards,

Syn
