Default 1st track times from my 98 SSEI with light mods

It took me awhile to get around to posting this but it is the first time I raced my car since I have owned it, and my first opportunity to get the feel of an L67 powered ride at the track, This was at the Michigan Grudge match back on Oct 18th.

I was using a new set of mickey thompson sportsman pro'* that probably hurt me because the have not been used and only 3 runs on them they need to be "broken in"
These runs were with 1/2 tank of gas and just the spare and jack pulled, and headlight out. Also a splash of race gas mixed in, which I did not need, because I have no KR, but I figured it would not hurt.

1st run:

R/T .791
60 2.528
330 6.587
1/8 9.864
MPH 75.78
1000 12.646
1/4 15.011
MPH 95.89

2nd run

R/T .579
60 2.327
330 6.216
1/8 9.449
MPH 76.66
1000 12.209
1/4 14.568
MPH 94.93

3rd Run

R/T .600
60 2.102
330 5.986
1/8 9.221
MPH 76.56
1000 11.990
1/4 14.356
MPH 94.61

Since then I have added a Thrasher modular pulley system, With more than three runs, and some more time to work on my launches a high 13 was possible, every one of those runs I spun, so I actually think for next time I will leave my Potenza 950 street tires on and see what it does, I also have the 3.25 pulley to slap on and with race gas in it I should be golden at the track. I am actually building another motor for the quick times to come, it will have a nice cam and intercooler, 12'* of any sort are the final goal for next year.

Does anyone currently on the board run 12'*? I did not even think this an attainable time for the bonnie.

Scott Cook has run them in his turbo'ed engine. It'* pretty easy in GTP'*, but there seem to be more GTP'* with deep pockets, or a need to race. An SSEi in 12'* is no challenge. Gimme an MP112, intercooler, full intense tranny, and all the parts i want and i'll get ya in the 11'*....

Great times.
I was surprised at first with the big variation between runs but can see most of it was caused by traction....check the 60' times.
A limited slip differential will be needed to improve consistency.
