Is there anything i can do to overcme my sluggish first gear (i know its the trannie ratio), when i stomp on it it doesn't come to life until second, its all i can do to burn a tire when i want to,

Add a supercharger....

Lose some of the weight in your trunk, or add enough horsepower and torque to overcome it.

Port/Polish your LIM. Consider adding rockers and PEM'*.

arent all SLEs 3.05/3.06?

so now my only options for mods that i haven't done, short of the convertor which i'm getting soon, will leave me with some down time on the car (which cant happen cause its my only car, and i drive 90 miles to and from work during the week), and/or dumping some cash into it (can't do that either), i guess i'm stuck with the granny gearing for now...


oh, and will a machine shop port/polish the lim and exaust manifold or am i on my own on these
