Default 1995 PCM Custom Programming

For as long as i can remember there has been the question, can i get an aftermarket pcm for my 1995. Well since it is obd 1 and 1/2, the answer was no. Well it was yes but just gmtuners. Well i have been in contact with will "overkill". He is a very well known tuner in the w-body communty. He is interested in helping us out. Currently he is "seeing what he can do". There is no promises but i am wondering if he can pull this off then who is interested. I told him i would try to get a bunch of us 1995 owners together because he would have to fork out the money for the program. So the first few pcm'* he does would just pay him back for the money he is investing. So who is interested. Can we just make a list and see what we can come up with. Again there is no promises but we can keep our fingers crossed. Thanx guys

Let'* add the 94'* to this list and increase the customer base a little.

94 L27
95 L36
94/95 L67

All are the hybrid OBD1/2 PCM. Please note that the shift points vary between these three drivetrains, but the good news is that none use the MAP sensor. A tuner will need this information. The 94/95 SSEi'* that have boost gauges do use the MAP sensor, but only for a boost indication.

It is beyond me why your avoiding gmtuners... and I'm guessing you haven't gotten a scan tool yet.
Edit:
You know they have the base definition file for the 95 L36 right? No more modifying the l27 file.

Yeah I started tuning with that file before I crashed.

If you go here then 'new releases and updates' you can see it was released this past April.

I now have the proper software to tune the 95 L36 files so the hacking of the L27 file is no longer required for your application. If you are still interested, send me an email.

I also now have OBD-2 tuning software that can take care of your 98-2001 L67 and L36 needs.
